SPEECH THERAPY
Our Speech-Language Pathologists assist children in learning various language skills, such as receptive language, expressive language, pragmatics, and articulation. Speech therapists also work with children on developing social skills and peer interaction.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational therapy is based on engagement in a meaningful activity. The word "occupation" is meant to mean "things that occupy your time" instead of vocation or job. Occupational therapy providers work with children to improve social skills, sensory integration, play skills, handwriting, behavior, problem solving, and activities of daily living such as self care and hygiene.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical therapy is therapy for the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function impaired or threatened by disability, injury, or disease that utilizes therapeutic exercise, physical modalities, assistive devices, and patient education and training. Your child will receive direct one-on-one therapy to achieve goals such as walking, climbing stairs, even to ride a bike to name a few.
FEEDING THERAPY
In Feeding Therapy, our Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational therapy providers work with children who have swallowing disorders, aversions to certain food groups or textures, and children who struggle to feed themselves.
